Chirak
Printing Press & Publishing House, was founded in 1953 in
Beirut. Chirak’s name has been closely related with the publishing
of its popular song books, along with dictionaries, conversational
books, children’s stories and works of Armenian famous authors.
Its premises were destroyed during the Lebanese civil war in 1986
and ceased its activities for 8 years. A renovated printshop began
to work in 1994 in its new premises in Bourj Hammoud. Although
commercial printing now constitutes our major activity, we are
still committed to publishing books, that are distinguished with
their high quality and their dedication to cultural enrichment.
